How will AI impact creative professions? | Rob Sartain, Creative Executive

Today on the show, I’m chatting with Rob Sartain, a creative executive based in London, who most recently led the in-house Content Studio at the London Stock Exchange Group, and has more than 20 years building brands and communication platforms.

Rob and I both left LSEG earlier this year, and I wanted to catch up with him to see how things are going, and how he’s thinking about his career in this moment of transition.

We talk about it all, including how he went from being an employee at a bank to an executive at a financial services company, and we also unpack how he’s had to overcome being an introvert throughout his career. We also chat about the Great Redundancy Express, a quote about advertising from 1923, and unpack how general artificial intelligence might affect creative professions around the world.
